We Are Sad To Report On The Fires In The UP of Michigan!

Hi Everyone,

Mom is copying and pasting the update our friends Betsy and Bon Bon made on their blog about the fires going on up their way right now. It is VERY sad and scarey! We are thankful that they are safe but everyone involved are in our prayers! The people losing homes and the firefighters, and all the animals that live in these forests that are on fire! Please keep all these people and animals in your prayers too~~

Gma Mary's Rose Bloomed Today:)

Hi Everyone,

Mom tells me how heavy hearts are for Auntie Marsha and Uncle Kevin. I told her that I am sure that their 3 boys will be there for them and will miss their big brother as well. Our people find great comfort in the presence of the babies that are here with them now.

We were all born into an AMAZING home when our lives started at Gma Mary's house and the moms and dads that she found for all of us. I can't wait for the SBG Family Reunion next month, I know that everyone is getting VERY excited for this event!

This morning here at our house it was sunny and the first blooms on Gma Mary's rosebush opened up. Mom told me that was her way of telling Marsha and Kevin that their sweet Jasper is with her and all the other puppies that everyone has lost and still miss.  They are all watching over us. They tell us in little ways sometimes that there are here and they still love us and they will all be there waiting for us when we cross the Rainbow Bridge.

Now Auntie Connie has new puppies and Auntie Jackie has so many cute little puppies and they have the same feelings that Gma Mary had about the homes that their babies go to. Not all puppies are as lucky as we are to have people who love us sooooooo much and will take care of us no matter what! Auntie Jackie I will have a word with you about a certain little boy that you have that has my mom all gaga:):) I bet I sure could have showed him how easy it was to train my mom! Just think boys would have ruled at our house had he been able to come home with us........

Today is Brinkley's 3rd birthday and if I remember right I think it's Cheyenne's birthday too:) Hope Auntie Suzy doesn't mind that mom "borrowed" one of her pictures!! Mom did you see the cupcake that Brinkley got? My 3rd birthday is November 23 and I will NOT forget this! I will be expecting cupcakes for me and Mrs. B! We hope that you had a good birthday. We know that Gma Mary was there with a kiss and hug for this VERY special boy

It is with a Very heavy heart that mom makes this post for me. Today my friend Jasper one of the Famous Firedogs crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and is now with Gma Mary and all the other doggies that she has there with her. We are all very sad that the Famous Four has gone to Three today. We are looking forward to seeing all of them next month when we can put our paws around them and give them all hugs. Our prayers go out to the entire family tonight and in the coming days that will be hard. Mom says that it's one of the hardest things our people ever do is when they lose one of us.

Jasper you will be missed and you will always be remembered! Rest in Peace and without pain anymore. Play in the grass like you did when you were young and we will all see you again one day. You always put your best paw forward and your mom and dad and brothers all loved you and are very proud of you! Mr. H

Today mom finished out fence in back of the garage! It was a really nice afternoon and mom let us check it out just a little:) Then she brought us in the house and rinsed off all the rock. She told us that she is going to get us an outdoor bed and look for some toys for our space! Mom almost forgot how smart I am! She thought she was pretty smart when she put some stone blocks in front of the gate so I couldn't push it open. She was worried about the stone scratching the paint, so she put a layer of clear silicone on one side of the block so it won't scratch and it won't wash off. That was ok but I took my nose and opened the gate in the way mom opened it:) She told me she will be fixing that:( I am looking forward to being outside more on really nice days! The Butterfly

Mom had a butterfly pose for pictures this afternoon and I thought you would all enjoy it too! I wasn't outside when mom took these pics and she was glad she told me that I probably would have scared it off. Can you believe that she would think that? She should know that I am a good boy! We Are Going To Have A New Play Area:)

Hi Everyone,

Mom has been working on putting up a fence for us to go outside and she won't have to worry about us. We will be able to go out there in the early morning and the afternoon. Mom said she is going to get us little beds to lay on and some toys like Auntie Jackie has:) It should be all done tomorrow. Mom has to get another section of fence and 3 more posts and some more rock and she can't get that till tomorrow. Mom says this will keep my from running off since I was very naughty one night and she had to chase me over to the neighbors. She should understand my nose was smelling all kinds of good things to run after! Hope you are all staying cool and have fun this summer! Keep putting your best paw forward! Mr. H:)
