And yes we did quite well at lunch:) Dad and I felt outnumbered by the girls today:)

Today we got to have a playdate with Mrs. B's sister Heaven. She is definately an Alpha girl:) After she and I had "words" a couple of times things were cool and we got to play when her mom came home. My mom was afraid that she would run away when we went outside once to play ball and she wouldn't come. She was looking for where her mom had went. Then we got to have lunch and we were all right there for everything that we could beg! It was a nice morning and afternoon:) Her mom texted my mom and told her that when Heaven got home she was asleep on her rug in no time all pooped out! A fun day was had by all. Mom needed some fun and good news there has been so much going on that has been too sad. I hope that you are all having a GREAT night! It looks like the weather will be good around here for the rest of the week. A little hot on Thursday and Friday but we can deal with that. I hope that everyone that was in the way of Hurricane Irene will be getting power back and get the mess cleaned up. We were worried about a lot of friends and have heard from all of them and they are all fine:) Go out there and put your best paw forward! Mr. H:)

Pink Flamingos

Hi Everyone,

We are still mourning the loss of Gma Mary! Tonight I am posting pics of pink flamingos another of Gma Mary's favorites. Mom has told me that she is going to plant a yellow rose bush in our garden. All of her babies here are sad and missing her but the ones at the Rainbow Bridge are the happiest puppies ever to be reunited with our dear Gma! We are home for a few days now and the weather has been really nice and Mrs. B and I have gotten to play ball with mom and that is nice. For so long it was too hot to play ball! I guess the end of the week we are supposed to have a couple of really hot days but mom says that one day soon it will start cooling off and it will be winter again! Oh boy playing in the snow we LOVE to play in the snow! Keep Gpa Philip and Nanny Janice and all of Gma Mary's family in your prayers and keep making her proud and put your best paw forward! Mr. H We love you and miss you Gma Mary!

Roses For Gma Mary

Hi Everyone,

I want to post these yellow roses for Gma Mary. Jane said that she they were her favorite. Please go to her obituary and light a candle and leave a message for her. We will all always put our best paw forward and make her proud of us! Mr. H:)

Our Hearts Are Heavy:(

It's the saddest day. Hearts are breaking, tears are flowing and Gma Mary has crossed the Rainbow Bridge to be with all the puppies that have been waiting for her! I am sure that she was smothered with puppy kisses and hugs when she got there! As for here we will all miss her and be forever grateful the gifts she gave each one of us. We pray for Gpa Philip and Nanny Janice and the entire family who have lost such a special woman. If you haven't seen the video that Aunt Angie put together please watch it and see what love is really all about! And if you have watched it before watch it again and feel the love! Gma Mary I promise to keep making you proud of me until I am with you again. Sweet little Mrs. B has been talking today and sends her love to Gma Mary and Gpa Philip and Nanny Janice, we promise to visit as soon as we can.

The Load We Just Finished:)

Hi Everyone,

This was in IA where we loaded!

Before we left mom had to have the height pole on the dually:)

This was in the building where we unloaded in Alabama! 

Mom got this one backwards this was before dad backed into the building!

Well I am getting mom back in the routine of updating daily. I see that Abby's dad is in TROUBLE! You don't get to take care of the baby and have something like her ear problem happen on your watch and think mom might not notice!!!! Yikes! My mom has assured me that dad will NEVER have the job of watching us with mom gone! No questions, no discussions, end of story:) Now for the load that dad just finished! We got a room on Saturday afternoon after dad and mom got done uptarping. It is HOT down here and it was nice to just kick back and take it easy in the AC! Next we will be loading for Canada and so now Mrs. B and I will become International travelers! Pretty cool! It will be just across the border into Windsor so not a long trip but that's ok! I will keep you updated on our progress. Go out there and put your best foot forward! Mr. H:) 

We Got Ice Cream

Mrs. B is all about the ice cream and looks so funny eating it:)

It's really hot and humid here in Birmingham and mom thought it was a good idea if we had some ice cream and we agreed with her! Yum Yum! There isn't anything much better than ice cream on a hot day! Oh heck lets be honest ice cream is good on a cold day too! I have mom in posting mode today and I will be getting caught up with my postings! Abby told me that she was soooooooooooo happy that her mom got back home and brought her a new toy! Her mom was really missing her baby and Aunt Jerra was giving Aunt Angie a bad time about dognapping Abby! I just don't know about our moms! The are really pieces of work aren't they? On The Road Again!

My mom has had some important things going on so I have been VERY easy on her but it's time for an update and her to get back on track! After all she LIVES with the HB Patrol and what kind of example is she setting? Before we left home we had a special package arrive from Aunt Angie. In it was some her new Blueberry Banana Biscotti and boy did we ever go nuts over them. I have to tell you that even mom and dad had a bite! Pretty yummy!! I want to say I am sorry for the long delay since my last update and I will be getting after my mom!!! It's cooled off from the brutal heat we were having and we are enjoying the lower temperatures. But mom says we are off to Birmingham, AL so it will be hot down there. I will make sure that she tells you about our travels! Go out there and put your best paw forward! Mr. H:)

Abby & The Firedogs Weekend At Camp!

Mom was really surprised tonight when she checked and Aunt Marsha had updated the Firedogs Blog too with some really GREAT pictures! Aunt Angie Aunt Marsha outdid you on this one!! It looks like all of you had so much fun and I wish we could have been there. I know that the pictures you and Aunt Angie took will warm Gma Mary's heart! Abby & The Firedogs Playdate!

Well Aunt Angie had the good sense to post a picture of Abby & The Firedogs together! Mom is almost crying that Sparky is getting too big too fast! But what a GREAT picture and there had better be a High Paw Five Production as soon as Aunt Angie gets back to high speed internet!!!!! Oh how we wish we could be there to play with that group! The HB Patrol Car!

Hi Everyone,

Be on the lookout!! The HB Patrol Car:)

Aunt Angie found the Perfect car to be the HB Patrol car! It is just our size and oh so cute! Mom has a friend that has one of these adorable little cars and Tina's is all black! The blue and silver would make a better patrol car:) Mom says that there really is a lot more room in it there than it looks like from the outside. It has room but it's NOT the spunkiest vehicle she's ever driven. But be warned there would be room for any doggie in need of our assistantance! So be on the look out it you are in the HB Patrol's sites we will find you! All you have to do to avoid this is just keep posting pictures of your kids!! We all LOVE to see them and I think somewhere it's in our contacts! I'm sure that Gma Mary didn't leave that out! Put your paws together for Gma Mary, Gpa Philip and Nanny Janice and make Gma Mary proud by always putting your best paw forward! Mr. H

Hi Everyone,

My bags are packed and I'm ready to GO!!!

Look how lucky Abby is she is packed and ready to go away for the weekend and a playdate with the Firedogs! I wish I was that lucky and we could be there with all of them! So I am forgiving Aunt Angie and Uncle Kevin and Aunt Marsha for the weekend and making posts. They will be in what mom refers to as cell phone hell. But when they come back now there should be LOTS of pictures of the weekends adventures! It's ok if you spread some of the pictures out over time but there should be pictures soon after your return. Monday is ok since you won't get back home till Sunday late. Trust me everyone I will be watching! I think that I have FINALLY gotten mom better trained. After all I am right here to bite her in the butt no travel required! I've had some very stern conversations with her about this. I have followers and they want updates! Now go out there and put your best paw forward! And keep praying for Gma Mary, Gpa Philip, Nanny Janice, and the entire family we love you all and our paws are together every night in prayer!

Can You Believe It?

Isn't this cool there is Abby on the bottom right of the screen and a picture of me on the right and Mrs B on the left! Mom's clean desk:)

I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes! Last night mom was skyping with Aunt Angie and we got to see and hear Miss Abby Dabby Do! Of course mom couldn't get the account set up so my dear aunt helped her with that and then the chat was on. After that mom and aunt Angie were like a couple of magpies! And then Aunt Angie had to ask mom what is that behind you it looks like a hand. It was the top of the vacuum cleaner:) That was fun and I know we will get to do that again and I hope that more people get on skype and we can see each other when were talking:) Go out there and put your best paw forward! Puppy Love

Hi Everyone,
I wanted to post this today and let Gma Mary know how very much all of us love her and that we all are praying for her! I have seen that she is in the hospital and as always giving them hell!! I bet she could run the food network right! Mom is just picking out some of the puppy pictures that she has stored in her computer. Always put your best paw forward I know that we ALL make Gma Mary proud! Mr. H

Grandma Mary picked me up

I wagged my tail and licked her face

Then she put me on her lap

I was born a cocker spaniel
I’m not an ordinary pup
I am loved much more than most
When grandma picks me up
I kiss her face, I chase her feet

And when I’m scared, I cry for her
She makes me feel alright
A puppy’s life is hard, you know
There are lots of things to do
I eat and sleep and chew on things
And then I’ve gotta poo
I can’t say how blessed I am
So I just wag my tail
I can’t say “come play with me”
So I just bark and whail
I can’t say “I love you”
If the moment should arise
So I just say “I love you”
In my little puppy eyes
So thank you Grandma Mary
For not leaving me alone
For finding me a family
And for finding me a home.
