I Am A Cool Dude!

Hi Everyone,

Sorry it's been soooooo long since mom has made a post for me! We took a little day trip up to Iron Mountain, MI last Thursday and this is when mom took the pics of me wearing my sunglasses! She tells me that I am a cool dude with them on! It's been pretty boring around home. Mom has been working on striping the deck so that she can stain it and she almost has it done. Hopefully it's nice out tomorrow and she can paint and be done. It's a big deck 12x30 and it has been a lot of work. But when she is done it will be worth it because it will last a long time. Now I have to go out the front door and mom has been putting me on the leash so I won't go around back and get into stuff I shouldn't. My friend Seppi hasn't been able to come over either since this project is going on. But that will all be over soon! It's AWESOME to see the Firedogs new blog! Come on Tucker you better get on the puppy wagon and make gma Mary really proud! I had to go to the vet last Friday and mom was all nervous because I had a little cough and the vet told mom that I'd just caught a little cold. But I also had to have my ears looked at. The outside of them had gotten some mats and mom felt like the worst dog mom ever for that happening! The vet told her that I had probably gotten bug bites in my timber and my scratching had caused the mats and the vet shaved down the bad part and I was REALLY good! She gave me a doggie treat and some medicene for mom to spray on them and they are healing quit nicely! Mom Is A Dork!

Hi Everyone,
I had fun yesterday! We got to go see Grandma and Aunt Germaine and mom forgot her camera so she couldn't take any pictures! Grandma will be 91 on Aug. 27 so they went out for lunch I couldn't go in:( I love going to Grandma's she always thinks I'm hungry and sets a bowl of water down for me right away. I showed them all my tricks and they think that I'm pretty smart and so cute. Grandma loves my big brown eyes. Mom gave me a bath yesterday morning before we left so I would be soft and clean for our visit. I'm just taking it easy today. Mom has a lot of work to do outside so I will get to stay inside where it is cool and comfortable and when she is done we can go out and play. Maybe my friend Seppi can come over and we can run in the timber and play ball. Mom wants to show dad the pictures of Abby playing in her sprinkler and maybe I can get one too!! I hope I hope I hope:):):) Oh what fun summer is! I wish I could be in PA this weekend my sis Abby gets to go see Gma Mary and Gpa Philip. Lucky girl!! Have fun and I'll be thinking of all of you! Isn't It Fun To Scare Mom?

Hi Everyone.
Well the highlight of my day was scaring mom! I have been in a rather barking mood all day and she has kept telling me no! So tonight while she was doing some paperwork she thought she heard a door close and sat there a minute. Then called for me and when I didn't answer and she couldn't hear me. Off she went outside thinking that I had somehow gotten the screen door open. She ran around the house and called for me, pushed the button on my collar. Even got in the pickup and drove up the neighbors drive and down to the road in each direction of the house calling my name and she was hysterical by this time. Back in the house she came and again come downstairs and this time she opened the door that had closed on me. I had laid there queit as a little church mouse while all of this was going on. I think that mom is going to have to color her hair in the next day or two. Tomorrow I get to go to doggie daycare and she knows that I will be tired when I get home. Hey Sis (Abby) How is that for giving mom a scare? So now it is bedtime and I can get my energy built back up for tomorrows adventures! I had fun running in the timber with my friend Seppi today. We chased the ball and Seppi liked mine better because mom gets me the kind that squeak. I will really try to be a better boy tomorrow. Go out there and put your best paw forward! Mr. H:)

Hi Everyone,
Mom doesn't have to go with dad this week the building is smaller than it was supposed to be. So we get to stay home and I get to go to doggie daycare again! This week the weather is soooooo much nicer. A nice breeze and the humidity is down it's awesome! This weekend I got to stay with one of the girls that work at my daycare when mom and dad went to a wedding. It was fun Chelsea had her dog and her boyfriends dog and we all got to play. I didn't miss mom and dad at all! Mom hates the thought of boarding me so this works out well. I get to stay at a house with other dogs and it's just like a doggie sleep over! Summer sure is going by fast and I hope that the mosquitoes are gone soon. They have almost taken over my timber. I've been itching my chest and one ear and mom thinks she figured out why. When she had me out on the leash I stuck my nose down in a bees nest and she had to pull me away and after she did when I was scratching at my ear a bee flew out from under it! Mom told me that I was a silly boy! Mom got my training collar all set up and we had a test run with it and when she pushed on the tone I turned around and came running. She tells me that so long I come with that she will never use any other setting on it. She just wants to get my attention and keep me from getting in the street and possibly getting hit that terrifies her! Hey I have a big timber to sniff and check out and of course the neighbors have cool smells too! It was funny on Saturday dad had mom call and see how I was doing! Mom knew all was well but it was daddy who was worried we are buddies. Now when mom goes somewhere and it's me and dad I sit on the loveseat with him and we watch tv till mom comes back! Dog life is really good and mom is loving seeing all the new puppy adventures and she absolutely adores Cheyenne and Kodiak those brown eyebrows just really get to her. But she says we need an update on how the Firedog blog is coming and if there is anything that she can do to help please feel free to ask and she will help all that she can. Good Morning!

Hi Everyone,

Boy is it ever hot and humid here at home! I got to go to doggie daycare the last two days and LOVED playing in the pools and sprinklers with all my friends. I really like playing with Toby we are buddies! Mom has a copy of my report card for the first day and the second day was a ditto! Hope you are staying cool wherever you are in all this heat! Did you all see that Tucker is being a good boy! Hey we just all have our days! Mom still says if dad could only be as good as I am...... And now all of Pansey's puppies have home Rabbit (who mom REALLY wanted) will be going home tonight! She just thinks those brow eyebrows are tooooooo cute! She looks forward to seeing pictures of him in his new home! We really are very lucky little puppies our gma Mary and Gpa Philip are the BEST!!!!!!!!!!! We love you and our Nanny Janice too and we all work to uphold the high standards you have set for us and we want to make you proud:) So to all of you go out there and put your best paw forward! Well I was a better boy today! Mom and I ran errands and then I got to stay in the house where it is nice and cool while mom mowed and raked the yard! Boy was there a lot of grass! I get to go to doggie daycare tomorrow. Mom checked and if it is hot they have the sprinkler going and the wading pools and if it's too bad we can go inside where it is cool! The thought of getting wet makes me happy!!!!:) Mom is going to try to post a picture of her and Abby when she was at gma Mary & gpa Philip's picking me up! She really does love that little girl and loves reading about her and seeing all her beautiful pictures! Hope this works! Hope the sun is shining and it's nice where you are! We Did It!:) The Firedogs Are Getting A Blog!!!!

Hi Everyone,
There is good news to report! My sis Abby and I have been hoping that the Firedogs would get their own blog and now it's reported that they are!!!!! Mom LOVES those 3 guys and says I should be so good lately! They look like 3 little angel boys! She can't wait to read about what is going on in their world:) This morning dad left and mom and I have a lot to get done this week while he is gone. The weather sounds like it's going to be yucky but you all know that I don't mind getting wet! We will post the new blog address as soon as we get it and you will all want to check in on them as well as my beautiful sis (and very good girl) Abby! And of course we all have Gma Mary to thank for this she is the best and we are all very lucky to have been born there!!!! Mom wants to send a message to the Firedogs that when she started my blog she thought she would never get it and once you get going it's easier and it really is fun! We are all looking forward to it! As for me I'm working on getting back in moms good graces and doing a pretty good job right now we are sharing fresh blueberries! Yum:) Gma Mary says that blueberries are as good for me as they are for mom. Mom has to get going and get busy. So until later go out there and put your best paw forward! Mr. H:)

New Family Pic

Hi Everyone,

I'm in a little better grace with mom this morning! I went outside and was a very good boy! I am working very hard on sucking up and I am hoping that it will pay big dividends. Yesterday I was just a bad boy all day! After I had my run to the neighbors I got up on the table and had mom's car keys down on the floor. Dad had to tell on me! He was really enjoying the fact that it was me and not him in trouble with mom for once. Then when she gave me another chance to go outside and be good. My nose got me in trouble again! There are just toooooo many smells in my timber right now and they lead me right to trouble. I went a different way but still towards a road and when mom caught me this time she told me that I had just earned myself a training collar. Dad was in the garage laughing. But he agreed with her. Neither wants to do this but they don't want me to get hit more. And still be able to go out and play in my big timber. I'll keep you updated how this all goes! Mom's friend Kim took a family pic for us when we were at a Culver's having ice cream. Sounds like it's going to be really hot here next week I hope mom will still get me ice cream. Boy Did I Get In Trouble Today!!!

I had to have a drink after my naughty run and my ear is stuck. Mom made me sit until she got all the stickers pulled out. I tried to get away a couple of times but it didn't work!

I had some of the stickers in my head too! Boy that getting in trouble is NO fun!

Hi Everyone,

We are home and I am LOVING running in my timber and mom was playing ball with me this morning when I got it in my head to go to the neighbors and get in these little green sticker things. Boy was mom ever mad!! I went behind the neighbors garage and when mom caught up with me and got me to stop I was in TROUBLE!!!! The thing that scared mom the most was if I would have got out on the road and got hit. My brain was on the smell I was following and I was in full hunting mode! Dad laughed at me that I was in trouble with mom!! It's usually dad that is in trouble and I'm always the good boy. I think I like being the good boy better!! It's not fun when mom is mad at you! So all my doggie friends learn from me the lesson I learned today and listen to your mom!! Go out there and have a GREAT day and put your best paw forward! Mr. H:)

My Friend Autumn!

Hi Everyone,

Well I got to play with my friend Autumn again. We met for the first time on our way to Albuquerque. Here we are together again in Maryland:) This time Autumn's mom Sarah stayed home but we want to say HI to her and we wish she was here with us! We like to play as you can see but we both have to stay on our leashes and that makes it hard. One of these days when we are home at the same time we are going over to Autumn's and we can play in her fenced in back yard!! That will be fun:) I am getting mom trained you remember the honk the horn trick I told you I learned? Well it works! This morning I was standing on the horn till mom came towards the truck and when she did I got off the horn and was She and dad tell me all the time how smart I am! The other night mom and dad were still driving when I thought that it was supper time and mom had to laugh when dad told her on the radio "You're not going to believe this". Mom carries my food in a sealed container in the pickup but she has food for me in a gladware container under the bunk in the truck and then just fills it when she needs to. Well I was hungry and told dad but he couldn't stop yet. So I proceeded to get the container out from under the bunk and when dad looked back I had the lid off and was having supper on the floor in front of the bunk. I thought it worked out quite well! It made mom and dad laugh and just shake their heads at just how smart I really am! Hey sis (Abby) mom is LOVING your blog! We still have work to do on getting those firedogs blogging too!!
